Size Guide

Five measurements, taken properly, will tell you your size more reliably than any calculator. International returns are expensive for everyone — so this page is built to get it right first time.

Find my ARVANTEO size

Every jacket is graded to its own chart. Choose the piece you are considering and we will size you against that chart, not an average.

Men's size chart

These are the body measurements each size is cut for — not the finished garment. Garment measurements include the ease built into each silhouette, which is why the fit note on each product page matters too.

Find my size

Enter your measurements and we will suggest which sizes are closest. This is a suggestion based on your numbers — we cannot guarantee a fit from measurements alone, and we never estimate size from height and weight.

The most important measurement.

How to measure

Measure over a well-fitting shirt, not a heavy jumper, and stand naturally — pulling your shoulders back gives you a chest measurement you cannot actually wear.

ShoulderChestWaistSleeveLength
Take each measurement over a well-fitting shirt, standing naturally.
  1. 01

    Chest

Around the fullest part of your chest, under the arms and across the shoulder blades. Keep the tape level and snug without compressing. Read on the exhale.

  2. 02

    Shoulder

Across your back, from the outer edge of one shoulder to the other — where the flat top of your shoulder turns down into your arm. This is the measurement that cannot be altered, so take it carefully.

  3. 03

    Sleeve

From the shoulder point, down the outside of a slightly bent arm, to the wrist bone. Bending the arm matters: a sleeve measured straight will be short in use.

  4. 04

    Jacket length

From the base of the collar seam at the back of your neck, straight down to where you want the jacket to finish.

  5. 05

    Waist

Around your natural waist — the narrowest point, usually just above the navel. Matters most for belted bikers and leather tailoring.

Still not sure?

Send us your measurements and the piece you are considering, and we will tell you which size we would send — including when the honest answer is that neither will fit well. Exchanges are free within the EU and UK, so a size change costs you nothing but time.
