The ARVANTEO Trucker

The trucker jacket in full-grain cowhide instead of denim: the same pointed collar, chest flap pockets and buttoned front, cut in a leather that will outlast every pair of jeans it is worn with. Hip-length and squared at the hem, with side adjusters instead of a waistband so it never rides up.

The trucker is the most-copied jacket in the world and almost never made properly in leather — usually the hide is too thin and the pattern is lifted straight from the denim block, which does not drape the same. Ours is re-patterned for a 1.2 mm cowhide: the sleeve head is higher, the back yoke is cut on the grain, and the buttons are sewn through a leather stay.

Leather has very little give, so the fit you buy is the fit you keep. If you are between sizes, check the shoulder measurement first — it is the one measurement that cannot be altered.

Store on a wide hanger away from direct heat and sunlight. Wipe clean with a dry cloth; treat with a leather conditioner once or twice a year. Never machine wash or tumble dry. For deep cleaning, use a specialist leather cleaner.
