The ARVANTEO Classic Biker Jacket

An asymmetric biker jacket in full-grain cowhide, built on a structured shoulder with a notched lapel that sits flat whether the jacket is zipped or open. The leather is vegetable-tanned and aniline-finished, so it takes on the marks of wear rather than hiding them — the jacket looks better at year five than at month one.

The biker jacket is the piece most often bought badly. Ours corrects the usual faults: a shoulder seam that actually sits on the shoulder, a body length that covers the belt without swamping the torso, and a leather heavy enough to hold its shape through a winter.

Store on a wide hanger away from direct heat and sunlight. Wipe clean with a dry cloth; treat with a leather conditioner once or twice a year. Never machine wash or tumble dry. For deep cleaning, use a specialist leather cleaner.
