The ARVANTEO Slim Café Racer

The café racer cut for women: a band collar that closes with a single snap, a straight zip, and nothing else on the front. In lambskin at 0.8 mm it is the lightest jacket in the range and the one most likely to be worn every day — slim through the body, sleeves cut narrow, hem just at the hip.

The café racer was the motorcycle jacket for riders who wanted a jacket, not a costume — no belt, no lapels, no chest zips. That restraint is why it works so well as a women's piece: there is nothing to scale down, only proportions to get right. Ours has the shoulder seam a fraction forward, so the sleeve hangs clean whether the arm is at the side or on a handlebar.

Store on a wide hanger away from direct heat and sunlight. Wipe clean with a dry cloth; treat with a leather conditioner once or twice a year. Never machine wash or tumble dry. For deep cleaning, use a specialist leather cleaner.
